China Representative Office Registration and Maintenance Guide (10) - Deregistration  
The term of a Representative Office normally is three years. The investor could apply to have its Repesentative Office deregistered before its term expired.   
Representative Office Deregistration Procedures  
1. prepare de-registration documents, publish notice of de-registration on newspaper; 2. issuing audit report and liquidation report; 3. apply for de-registration with the State Tax Bureau; 4. apply for de-registration with the Local Tax Bureau and the foreign tax sub-bureau;  5. apply for de-registration of the enterprise coding certificate with the Quality Supervising Bureau; 6. cancel the bank account;  7. turn over the seals of the representative office to the police bureau and cancel the registration; 8. apply for de-registration of the representative office with Nanjin Administration Bureau of Industry and Commerce.   
Documents and Materials Required  
1. original certificate of registration for the representative office; 2. certificate of representative for chief / common representative; 3. original enterprise coding certificate and coding card for the representative office; 4. original certificate of state tax registration;  5. original certificate of local tax registration;  6. common seal and seal for finance use of the representative office, private seal of the chief representative;  7. employment termination contract provided by the Fesco; 8. all the finance records and materials of the representative office.
